In Agia Fotia, on the south-east coast of the isle of Crete, which lies in the middle of the Mediterranean, we have a detached villa a for rent. The villa, known as Villa Jorgos, has two apartments: a garden apartment and a maisonette. It's a new project, built in 2001 complying to the latest West-European standards under the supervision of Koen Klijn (an architectural engineer from Rotterdam). Each apartment has a private garden and terrace with beautiful views. Temperatures are pleasant, both during the daytime and in the evenings. The sea and beaches are less than 300 meters from the villa and shopping facilities are within walking distance.
If you have access to Google Earth you can find Agia Fotia Beach here: 35° 1'21.05"N 25°52'35.39"E. Just copy and paste the co-ordinates into the Google Earth search box and you will fly down to the beach! Bon voyage!
Garden apartment - This apartment is situated at the ground floor of Villa Jorgos. It contains: an entrance through to the living-room, with a large open-plan kitchen with modern equipment, a bathroom with a wc, shower and hand-basin, two double-bedrooms, one of which has a door leading to a private terrace and spacious garden.
Maisonette - This apartment is situated on the second and third floors of the villa. It comprises on the first floor: an entrance with staircase to the second floor, two double-bedrooms, bathroom with shower, hand-basin and a separate wc. On the second floor you'll find a spacious living-room with an open-plan kitchen with modern equipment.
